Won the first four rounds of the 2021 Irish Derby, running third in the final after first corner trouble behind champion Susie Sapphire
He broke the magical 17-second mark for the second section at Shelbourne Park, running a sensational 16.96 (one of only two during 2021 Derby to do so). His 12.14 run home is one of the best ever seen.
Jack’s 29.10PB at Shelbourne Park in round one of the Irish Derby was recorded days after his second birthday (watch replay). The second fastest heat winner was six lengths slower.
His feature race wins included the Rural Hawaii Unraced Stake at Clonmel and the Champion Plate at Shelbourne, by seven lengths. It was part of a seven-race winning streak that flowed into the Derby.
After five months off after the Derby, Jack returned to the track but suffered a stopper bone injury and was retired soon after.
